Introduction to Wet Collodion Ambrotype/Ferrotype 

Learn more about one of the earliest photographic processes: the wet collodion process. This workshops contains theory as well as practice. This two day course investigates all aspects of the collodion process: history, materials, chemistry, proceedings, and best practices. Not only do you learn how to prepare, light, develop and coat a plate, but you also get to work the camera and chemicals yourself. Create your first plates under the expert guidance of Jeroen de Wijs.

Who can book this workshop?
Photographers, artists, specialists and everyone interested in 19th century photography. You don't need any foreknowledge of the dark room or large format cameras.

The advanced course offers you the possibility to improve your skills and your practical knowledge under the expert guidance of Jeroen de Wijs.
